About Parker Green
Parker Green is a writer and creator from Los Angeles, CA, and a graduate from California State University, Los Angeles with a Bachelor's Degree in Television, Film, and Media Studies. Parker is a newcomer to the field of games journalism, but is already making big strides in his career by previewing games, attending industry events, and expanding his portfolio. Always on the search for the next great game to play, his favorite part about writing for Hardcore Gamer is being able to introduce readers to new games and content to experience.
Additionally, Parker is passionate about creative direction, and spends much of his time discussing game design, industry trends, and pop culture. He's currently producing a new web series called "Indie Games You Should Be Playing" which aims to highlight lesser-known projects made by independent or small developers. In addition to playing video games, Parker spends his time voice acting and screenwriting, as well as making music under the pseudonym Mr. Sparkler.
Proudest Gaming Achievement
Parker's proudest gaming achievements are defeating the Ender Dragon in Minecraft on Hardcore mode, achieving 100% completion on LEGO Indiana Jones with his brother in 2009, and succesfully convincing his friend group of first-person shooter fans to play and complete Baldur's Gate 3.
Parker also got an Ace in a recent round of Valorant (he will not be signing autographs at this time).
Favorite Games
Parker spends a lot of time playing games, so picking a favorite is no easy task. The franchises nearest and dearest to his heart are The Last of Us and the Batman: Arkham series. His most-played and favorite game of all time, though, has to go to Minecraft, which introduced him to the worlds of both PC and online gaming.
Favorite Console
He is really enjoying his Steam Deck (although he does have his heart set on upgrading to the OLED model), as well as his PlayStation 5. His all-time favorite consoles are the NIntendo Gamecube (his very first video game console) and the Xbox 360 (the first video game console his dad let him play an M-rated game on). Parker also is eagerly looking forward to the announcement of the next Nintendo console.
