Having a comfortable and long-lasting gaming chair is highly ideal, but how can that experience be further enjoyable? Some people certainly enjoy sitting straight up in a chair with knees traditionally bent and their feet on the floor. But what if you had comfort options? Those that not only game but also work from a home office or office in general may require longevity in their seats for multiple hours. Keeping the feet on the floor isn't the preferred health option as having the feet elevated is always superior. Secretlab is now offering a new accessory that can let the user choose their comfort options with the OTTO Adjustable Legrest.
The Secretlab OTTO Adjustable Legrest isn't an attachment to a chair and doesn't even require a computer chair for usage. Do you need something to prop up your legs from a sofa or a living room chair? The OTTO Adjustable Legrest delivers on that, but ideally you would want to match this with one of Secretlab's chairs due to design aesthetics. The Legrest is a standalone unit, so no need to have to physically hook it to one of the Secretlab chairs or any, in general. What it does do is offer more options outside of just putting your legs on something.
The OTTO Adjustable Legrest can be tilted to allow for different seating styles. It can also be height-adjusted (15.4" to 18.5") to accommodate various user sizes. The combination of the two with a reclining chair also allows for a sleeping position as the Legrest opens the doors for multiple uses. What about stretches? The instructions from Secretlab actually include positions for stretching that can be used with this and it doesn't necessarily require a chair.

Assembly, Overall Design, Instruction
One thing that Secretlab deserves a lot of credit for is its presentation tied to their product assembly. A TITAN Evo chair was also sent over along with the OTTO Adjustable Legrest for this review and the instructions along with the flow of the parts introduction in the boxes are fantastic. Everything is clean, legible and not overwhelming. Most everything is straightforward unlike ordering furniture off of Amazon that includes fifty different screws and bolts that you may or may not need. The chair was setup in thirty minutes and the Legrest was done in literally five.
Two separate parts are tied to Legrest that includes the base being attached with four bolts to the column that holds the cushion together. Handles are on both sides for adjusting the tilt, which goes probably 60 degrees and up to a flat surface, while the other adjust the height. There will be red screws to remove to free up these handles, but outside of this, that's it.

While the Secretlab chairs offer leather or leatherette upholstery, the OTTO Adjustable Legrest is cloth, but it's soft. The top uses Plushcell Memory Foam that will conform to the user's legs. Microscopic memory pockets work seamlessly for optimal density and pressure relief. The ridges coupled with the upholstery provide basically a pillow but with weighted support. In terms of weight distribution, it's rather top heavy, but can be easily slide around. It does have four small pads on the bottom of the stand along with a handle on the rear of the cushion to drag where needed. It's not heavy at all to pick up and haul to another room.

The width of the TITAN Evo XL chair coupled with the Legrest's design to match up directly with the chair allows for ample rotation for sleeping. The included magnetic pillow with the TITAN Evo provides extended comfort for those looking to simply lounge and enjoy the screen. Users can opt to keep it at a full leg's distance for ankle propping or further up close since it's not specifically tied to the chair. While pets may find a home on it, you shouldn't. The OTTO Adjustable Legrest is not designed for a lot of weight directly on it.
The Health Positives and Improvements
As mentioned earlier, it's better to have elevated legs rather than having them sit flat on the floor. When elevating, it allows for lower pressure by allowing blood that has pooled up to drain away. This reduces swelling and improves overall bloodblow through the body. If having an ailment in the legs, the Legrest could reduce pain thanks to the elevation ability while maintaining comfort for long hours of sitting. This is extremely ideal for a working environment.

There's also an Ergonomic Recliner Add-On available from Secretlab that does attach to the chair, and if you have this then it needs to be removed in order to use the Legrest. The OTTO Adjustable Legrest is designed for dedicated support for legs and feet and for those that mainly have a lot of space. This includes underneath the desk or just in the room overall. The big attraction is the adjustment to anyone's height since it's not tethered to anything.
Individual and Group Pricing

This is a solid price point for an accessory that provides not only durability and comfort, but various options and uses outside of just putting your feet up. This means with one of the TITAN EVO chairs in combination with the OTTO Adjustable Legrest, you're out the door at under $1,000 for a setup that will last for ages.
Closing Comments:
The durability and viability of the Secretlab OTTO Adjustable Legrest is very welcoming. The amount of comfort from the Secretlab proprietary PlushCell Memory Foam will keep your legs and feet set for hours of work or gaming if needed. Thankfully, the ability to adjust and reposition the legrest is there with the simple pull of a lever. The handle on the rear helps for easy movement while the legrest, itself, stays easily weighted in place. For that viability and durability, the $299 price is fair as a big accessory for a Secretlab chair. This is far superior quality over the leather legrests and would swivel back and forth and pair with a chair from Staples. The cat seems to like the OTTO Adjustable Legrest too.
