Starting the Quest

• Location: Having just reunited with your Pawn at the Forbidden Magick Lab in Bakbattahl, you're well-positioned to begin this quest.
• Objective: Your goal is to investigate the giant red beam of light emanating from the middle of Bakbattahl.

Approaching the Beam of Light

• Reach the Beam: Make your way to the base of the light beam, located outside the front door of the palace.
• Activation: Approach the beam and present your godsway to activate it. This action summons not a full dragon, but a small dragon relic, setting the stage for the quest’s main challenge.

Encounter with Phaseus

• Phaseus's Arrival: Shortly after the relic appears, Phaseus joins you, intrigued by the relic but obstructed by a magical barrier and a host of ethereal enemies.
• Combat: These enemies, while incredibly weak, do not offer XP but must be cleared to progress. Defeat them to continue following Phaseus.

Chasing the Alternate Route

• Following Phaseus: After the initial encounter, Phaseus attempts to find an alternate route to the relic. Follow him through various city parts, battling enemies along the way.
• Path Through the City: The route will take you across rocky spires, down and across the dye fields, and back through the Forbidden Magick Lab. Be mindful of falling rocks in the dye fields, indicated by shadows on the ground before impact.

Final Push to the Relic

• Protecting Phaseus: As you make your way to the relic, continue to clear the path of enemies. Use strategic skills like the Mystic Spearhand’s Mirrour Shielde to protect Phaseus from hazards.
• Hallway Ambush: Upon reaching the final hallway leading to the dragon statue, prepare for a tough fight against a large group of Goblins and Harpies. Use your Pawns effectively to create distractions, allowing you to pick off enemies strategically.

Completing the Quest

• Destroying the Relic: When you reach the dragon statue, destroy it to end the quest and the ongoing nightmare in Bakbattahl.
• Conversation and Rewards: After a brief conversation with Phaseus, the quest concludes, rewarding you with 20,000 gold, 20,000 XP, and 35 Wyrmslife Crystal .
